A Journey Into My Sketchbook (Part 2)
This is my second presentation of drawings from my sketchbook. Part One showed a dozen drawings from my most recent sketchbook. Here I share another dozen.
A sketchbook is a place to experiment, where trial and error can lead to unexpected results. It’s also a place to work mostly in shape, line and tone, with little or no color – and to create something quickly. Some drawings can be finished in a matter of minutes; others take longer to render with shading and details. Some of these sketches were created as studies for future paintings. Others are complete in and of themselves.
I hope you enjoy this little journey into my creative process.
