I'm participating in the Shandaken Art Studio Tour: July 27 & 28, 10am-5pm. If you're local, stop by!
Hi Friends!
Ever want to meet the artist behind all these posts? Here's your chance.
(This is me standing in front of a photo of women Impressionist painters in Paris,
imagining being an artist in the late 1800s.)
It's also my chance to meet you, which is why I'm so pleased
to be participating again this year in the Shandaken Art Studio Tour.
I love meeting art lovers, and hearing
about people's impressions and perceptions of art.
Everything will be on sale and discounted!
Hundreds of works of art . . .
This year's tour is more selective:
Just ten artists, and a few shops that feature local artisans.
You can view the tour (or "art trek") map and catalog of artists here.
Info about my art is on page 7.
. . . but you've already seen samples of my art sprinkled throughout this post.
Oils & acrylics on canvas
Gouache & acrylic paintings on paper
Linoleum Block Prints from Way Back When
Original illustrations from numerous children's books
THE JEWISH EYE Calendar of Art
Signed Children's Books
Landscapes from Israel
Catskill Landscapes
Paintings on Collage
Biblical Illustration
Jewish-themed Art
Greeting Cards
Posters
Come on by, rain or shine!
10am-5pm
Saturday, July 27 & Sunday, July 28
203 Broadstreet Hollow, Shandaken
Be sure to visit my neighbor Dave Channon's studio, too!
Dave's the organizer of the tour, a champion of local artists,
and a real mensch. He's also a talented sculptor,
welding together the most uncanny creations.
His paintings are pretty far-out, too.
